Community Manager – Residential Property

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Prose Hayden Island property, ensuring financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all applicable regulations. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team and coordinate with vendors, owners, and residents to maintain a high‑quality living environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor property budgets, analyze financial statements, and forecast performance.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, prepare monthly financial reports, and manage bank deposits.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate coding to chart‑of‑accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, renewals, discounts, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions, and collect late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing day‑to‑day operations of a multifamily property.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to meet budgeted revenue and expense targets.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related multifamily regulations.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to manage staff, vendors, and residents.
