About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned multifamily property in Pittsburgh. This role leads the on‑site team, drives financial performance, and ensures compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and input property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and manage vendor communications.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Enforce lease terms: approve resident applications, process discounts and renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, handle evictions, and collect late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to create short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through responsive service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multifamily property management.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and develop budgets.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and lease administration.
• Excellent resident‑service orientation.
