Community Manager – Oak Lake Townhomes

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of Oak Lake Townhomes, a 222‑unit townhome community in Charlotte, NC. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, ensure resident satisfaction, and drive the lease‑up phase to meet financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Supervise and coach team members to deliver high‑quality resident services.
• Monitor and control operating expenses while supporting budget development.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Analyze financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports to guide decision‑making.
• Coordinate leasing activities during the lease‑up stage to achieve occupancy goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property‑management experience, preferably in multifamily or townhome communities.
• Strong knowledge of housing regulations and budgeting processes.
