Community Manager – Manhattan Shores

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Manhattan Shores property. You will lead a small team, drive leasing activity, and ensure the community runs smoothly while meeting financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, including team supervision, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Achieve revenue goals by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, and handling bank deposits.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures, maintain petty‑cash fund, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.
• Oversee lease enforcement, renewals, and resident relations.
• Plan and execute community events, outreach marketing, and partnership activities to generate leasing traffic.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Community Manager, preferably in luxury or lease‑up environments.
• Proven ability to promote new communities, build brand awareness, and attract prospective residents.
• Experience with affordable housing is a plus.
• Familiarity with coastal markets, especially the Manhattan Beach area, is strongly preferred.
