Community Manager – Lease-Up

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to lead the lease‑up phase for the Marlowe Peoria Place property. You will oversee daily operations, drive occupancy, and ensure financial performance while maintaining compliance with all housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures, manage petty cash, and stay within approved budget limits.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, process renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, and handle evictions and late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property management, preferably with lease‑up responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
