Community Manager (Lease-Up) – Central West End, St. Louis

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager (Lease-Up) to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a new property in the Central West End of St. Louis. This onsite position will manage the property team, ensure financial targets are met, and maintain compliance with all applicable housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to property budget development by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code charges to the appropriate accounts.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage the petty‑cash fund.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, lease renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Gather and interpret current market and economic trends to inform leasing strategies.

Required profile

• Experience managing multifamily or rental housing operations.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze budgets and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to lead a property team and coordinate daily activities.
