About the role

The Community Manager for the Lariat property will oversee daily operations, manage on‑site staff, and ensure financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in developing the property budget by reviewing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
  • Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
  • Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
  • Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty‑cash funds.
  • Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, renewals, discounts, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions, and collect late fees.
  • Analyze market and economic trends to create short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and service initiatives.
