Community Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned multifamily property. The role combines financial oversight, resident relations, and compliance responsibilities to ensure the property meets its budgetary and service goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the property budget by reviewing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Manage the petty‑cash fund and control expenditures within the approved budget.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue.
• Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multifamily housing regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
