Community Manager

About the role

The Content & Community team at 1000heads is looking for a passionate Community Manager to lead organic social activations and engage audiences for top brands. You will work across creative, production, insights, and strategy to deliver social‑first content that resonates with cultural trends.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for social media and community management.
• Design and execute organic social campaigns from strategy through activation.
• Develop editorial themes, calendars, and guidelines for global and local markets.
• Oversee day‑to‑day execution of all social channels and ensure smooth delivery of content.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and bi‑annual performance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor conversations, foster community engagement, and create conversational connections.
• Identify emerging trends and translate them into innovative social ideas with design and production teams.
• Create native‑first content, including TikTok videos that respond to current trends.

Required profile

• Based in an EST timezone and able to work hybrid (2 days onsite) in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami.
• Proven track record in social or digital marketing within an agency environment.
• Deep understanding of social platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with influencer programs and social advertising is a plus.
