Community Manager

About the role

We are a purpose‑driven creative shop looking for a Community Manager to build and nurture a regulated‑industry community. Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will create a trusted space for users while ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large online community (1,000+ members) across social platforms, setting the tone and fostering collaboration.
• Moderate daily interactions, respond to questions, and handle escalations in line with platform guidelines.
• Identify trending topics, create discussion threads, and run weekly content challenges.
• Review and approve all community messaging, user‑generated content, and campaigns for compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and FINRA.
• Monitor platforms for compliance breaches, misinformation, or liability risks and execute rapid mitigation.
• Serve as liaison between the brand, community members, client teams, and internal legal/compliance partners.
• Develop educational materials, house rules, and clear community guidelines.
• Design and execute long‑term community programs like advisory boards and advocacy groups.

Required profile

• Experience managing communities in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, or legal tech.
• Strong understanding of data‑privacy and disclosure requirements.
• Charismatic storyteller with on‑camera presence and the ability to protect brand integrity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex compliance rules into engaging community experiences.
