Community Manager – Indigo 19 (Virginia Beach, VA)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for the Indigo 19 property in Virginia Beach, VA. The role oversees daily property operations, ensuring financial performance, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the property budget by reviewing financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, processing bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Manage expenditures within the approved budget and maintain the petty‑cash fund.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, lease renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to shape short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property management or a similar operational role.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other relevant regulations.
• Ability to interpret financial data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
