Community Manager – Fort Lee, NJ

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property in the Fort Lee, NJ area. You will lead the on‑site team, manage resources, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational goals while complying with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input for property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
• Monitor market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other housing regulations.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze budgets and financial reports.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, and on‑site staff.
• Excellent communication and resident‑service skills.
