Community Manager for The Hayward on Mass Ave

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of The Hayward on Mass Ave, a multifamily property. This position is responsible for leading the on‑site team, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team members, and resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Develop and input budget forecasts by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction and address community concerns.

Required profile

• Experience managing multifamily property operations.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop budgets.
• Proven leadership and team‑management skills.
