Community Manager for Student Living at Fieldstone

About the role

The Community Manager for Fieldstone Student Living will oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring a vibrant community for resident students while meeting financial and operational goals. Reporting to senior management, the role combines property management, budgeting, and compliance responsibilities within Greystar’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and input budget forecasts by analyzing financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports.
• Achieve targeted revenue by setting rent rates, collecting payments, posting deposits, and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, discounts, renewals, inspections, notice compliance, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Establish and maintain relationships with housing and student affairs officials at affiliated academic institutions.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing day‑to‑day operations of a multifamily or student housing property.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collection processes.
• Familiarity with vendor management, invoice approval, and insurance verification.
• Understanding of lease administration, resident relations, and eviction procedures.
• Ability to work with housing and student affairs officials and stay informed on policy changes.
• Commitment to compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and related housing regulations.
