Community Manager for SkyMor Sanford Property

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the daily operations of the SkyMor Sanford property, ensuring smooth team coordination, financial performance, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position reports directly to senior management and plays a key role in maintaining high resident satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the property’s team members, daily activities, and resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Develop and monitor budgets by analyzing financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and ensure proper coding to chart of accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of multifamily housing operations and relevant regulations (Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Experience in lease administration and property compliance.
