Community Manager for Laurel Canyon Apartments

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of Laurel Canyon Apartments, ensuring financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position coordinates team activities, manages budgets, and drives leasing and marketing initiatives to meet occupancy goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor property budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and manage coding to appropriate accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, conduct inspections, and handle evictions and fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property management or community management.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, and other housing regulations.
• Ability to interpret financial data and make budgetary decisions.
• Excellent communication and resident relations skills.
