Community Manager for Elan East Property

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Elan East property, leading the on‑site team and ensuring financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
• Monitor market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service.

Required profile

• Experience analyzing financial statements and budgeting for real‑estate assets.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with insurance and contractual requirements.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and maintaining operational efficiency.
