Community Manager for Cedar Flats Property

About the role

We are seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of Cedar Flats, an 82‑unit mid‑rise apartment community in Charlotte, NC. The role combines property management, resident relations, and financial oversight to ensure a high‑quality living experience and meet budgeted goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staff, and resources to achieve financial and operational targets.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Collect rent, process payments, handle bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Oversee lease administration, including applicant approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
• Monitor market trends and adjust rent rates and marketing strategies accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and company policies.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property management or community management.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and lease administration.
• Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
