Community Manager for Avana Westside Property

About the role

The Community Manager for Avana Westside will oversee the daily operations of this mid‑rise, stabilized multifamily property. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, ensure financial performance, and maintain compliance with housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash fund.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, discounts, renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions, and collect late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends, and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multifamily property management.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and owners.
• Analytical mindset for budgeting, financial reporting, and market analysis.
