Community Manager for Avana West Park Property

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of the Avana West Park property, leading the on‑site team to meet financial and operational goals. This position ensures compliance with company policies and relevant housing regulations while fostering a positive resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the property budget by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets through rent setting, timely collection, and preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate coding to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Manage petty cash, control expenditures, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to shape short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management with a solid understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial statements and market data.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing teams, vendors, and resident relations.
