Community Manager (Floating) – Creole on Yorktown

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager (Floating) to oversee day‑to‑day operations at the Creole on Yorktown property. You will lead the on‑site team, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with all applicable housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and input budget forecasts by analyzing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, lease renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to create short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.

Required profile

• Experience managing multifamily property operations and team members.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other housing regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and track performance against targets.
• Proficiency in vendor management, invoice processing, and expense control.
