Community Manager – Eastie 355

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Eastie 355 property, ensuring financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position reports to senior management and works closely with leasing, maintenance, and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the property budget by reviewing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, post transactions promptly, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate payments.
• Manage the petty‑cash fund and control expenditures within the approved budget.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, discounts, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to create short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through effective communication and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience managing multi‑family residential properties or similar real‑estate assets.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other housing regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and drive leasing strategies.
