Community Manager – Canyon Creek

About the role

The Community Manager for Canyon Creek oversees daily operations of the assigned property, leading the on‑site team and ensuring financial and operational goals are met while complying with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate payments.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to shape short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management with a strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and cash flow.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for invoice processing and lease administration.
• Ability to analyze market data and implement effective leasing strategies.
