Community Manager – Avana (Evergreen Heights)

About the role

The Community Manager for Avana (Evergreen Heights) will oversee the daily operations of a stabilized, garden‑style property of 220 units in San Jose. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, manage resources, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational targets while complying with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise property staff and coordinate daily activities to achieve budgeted goals.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Greystar policies.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Handle resident relations, ensuring high satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
• Oversee administrative functions, including leasing documentation and regulatory filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in property or affordable‑housing management.
• Strong financial acumen and proven administrative abilities.
• Effective communication in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
