Community Manager – Albion on Lake Cook

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Albion on Lake Cook property, leading the on‑site team to meet financial and operational targets while ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team members, and resources to achieve budgeted goals.
• Develop and monitor property budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures, manage petty cash, and enforce lease terms, including applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and late‑fee collection.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
• Promote resident satisfaction and ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or community management within multi‑family housing.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related housing laws.
• Ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to supervise on‑site staff.
