Community & Engagement Manager

About the role

Wavytalk, a fast‑growing digital‑first hair tools brand, is seeking a Community & Engagement Manager to own and scale its community ecosystem. You will turn conversations into insights, nurture advocates, and drive long‑term brand equity across social platforms and its TYB community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day engagement on all community touchpoints (social platforms, DMs, comments, TYB).
• Grow and activate the TYB platform while maintaining a consistent, playful brand voice.
• Identify and deepen relationships with high‑value community members.
• Develop and lead a social‑listening strategy across TikTok, Instagram, reviews and other community channels.
• Translate trends, pain points and product feedback into actionable recommendations for product, marketing and content teams.
• Scale and structure the Brand Ambassador Program, onboarding, retaining and turning top members into brand champions.
• Build a network of professional hairstylists for the future Wavytalk Hair Stylist Academy.
• Plan and execute virtual and in‑person community events, styling workshops, product launches and UGC campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing online communities and driving engagement.
• Strong understanding of social‑media dynamics on TikTok and Instagram.
• Ability to extract consumer insights from social listening and translate them into product and marketing actions.
• Experience designing and scaling ambassador or influencer programs.
• Collaborative mindset to work with marketing, product and creative teams.
