Community Assistant – University Station Student Living

About the role

The Community Assistant supports Greystar’s University Station student‑living community by handling day‑to‑day administrative, leasing and resident‑service tasks. Working closely with the property management team, the assistant helps achieve occupancy targets and ensures a positive living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office administration such as copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices and organizing rent payments.
• Assist leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours and show apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, maintain lease files and support the move‑in and move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to drive qualified traffic.
• Coordinate resident events, distribute newsletters, flyers and surveys, and handle birthday cards and unit visits.
• Serve as after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering at least one on‑call shift per week.
