Community Assistant – Student Living Community

About the role

The Community Assistant supports Greystar’s property management team at Union on San Antonio, a student‑living community. You will help achieve occupancy and resident‑retention goals through administrative, leasing and customer‑service tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office administration such as copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices and organizing rent payments.
• Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours and show apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize lease files and support the move‑in and move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to drive qualified traffic.
• Coordinate resident events and programs, distribute flyers, newsletters, surveys and notices.
• Serve as an after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering at least one on‑call shift per week.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on‑call shifts.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative tasks.
