Communications Specialist

About the role

As a Communications Specialist at Nike, you will shape and amplify the brand’s narrative for both internal and external audiences. Working in a hybrid schedule, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver compelling storytelling across a variety of channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit, and produce content for newsletters, intranet, press releases, Slack, Workvivo, digital screens, and executive presentations.
• Develop and manage editorial calendars, curating stories that resonate with a globally distributed workforce.
• Translate complex technical or innovation‑driven work into clear, compelling narratives.
• Build messaging frameworks and storytelling tools for product launches, innovation milestones, and sport moments.
• Support media relations, including press release drafting, fact sheets, speaking points, and on‑site media management at events.
• Collaborate with Brand, Executive Communications, Media Relations, Sport Marketing, and Geo communications teams.
• Manage stakeholder communications, project timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in communications, content, PR, editorial, or a related field.
• Strong writing ability across long‑form editorial, executive presentations, press releases, and digital content.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering with technical experts, creatives, and senior leaders.
• Genuine passion for sport and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
