Communications Coordinator (Resort Marketing)

About the role

We are looking for a Communications Coordinator to join the Resort Marketing team at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. The role will create and deliver clear, engaging guest‑facing communications that showcase the resort’s story and keep visitors informed about conditions, events and services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary snow reporter during the winter season, reporting early mornings and on weekends as needed.
• Plan, draft, schedule and publish content for Homewood’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Write and distribute guest newsletters, resort updates and event communications via email.
• Maintain and update website copy, event calendars, blog posts and digital signage content.
• Gather accurate information from resort departments and translate it into consistent, on‑brand messaging.
• Support seasonal marketing campaigns, community engagement initiatives and special projects.

Required profile

• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading abilities with strong attention to tone and brand standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collect information across multiple departments.
• Ability to work early mornings, five days a week and on weekends or holidays during the ski season.

Required skills

• Experience managing content on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms and newsletter distribution.
• Familiarity with website content management systems and digital signage tools.
