Communications and Digital Content Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Communications and Digital Content Lead to shape and deliver the communications strategy for our updated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role will craft clear, audience-specific messages and manage a dedicated internal communications hub to support change adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the SDLC communications strategy, audience plan, editorial calendar and content backlog.
• Produce a bi-weekly SDLC newsletter and draft sponsor messages, executive announcements, leadership talking points and employee updates.
• Create audience-specific content explaining the SDLC changes, impact and required actions.
• Design, launch and govern the FPLS AI communications hub, including landing pages, resource libraries, FAQs, training links and go-live information.
• Establish publishing, approval, version control, accessibility and archiving standards for all digital assets.
• Monitor engagement metrics such as page visits, newsletter opens, downloads and feedback, and adjust content accordingly.
• Coordinate sponsor video scripts, storyboards, production and accompanying written materials.
• Provide toolkits for managers and change champions and manage rapid-response communications for emerging issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, business, digital media or a related field.
• At least four years of experience creating communications for organizational, process or technology change.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling abilities, with a proven track record of translating technical information into clear employee messages.
• Strong understanding of brand, terminology, privacy, confidentiality and accessibility standards.

• SharePoint site management and intranet page development.
• Graphic design using Canva.
• Graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
