About the role

Offit Kurman is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. The role offers the chance to work on sophisticated commercial matters in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

Handle substantive litigation tasks including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery.
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and assist matters through resolution across areas such as lender‑side foreclosures, bankruptcy, loan workouts, real estate litigation, and general commercial disputes.

Required profile

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, preferably New York or New Jersey.
3+ years of commercial litigation experience with strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Required skills

Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and client‑service skills.
