Commercial Finance Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Finance Analyst will provide financial stewardship, commercial insight and decision support for the full P&L of InterAction, LexisNexis' Legal CRM. Reporting to the Finance Decision Support Director, the role partners with product, commercial and operational leaders to drive data‑led analysis and influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring robust assumptions aligned with business strategy.
• Deliver monthly performance analysis, explaining movements in revenue, cost, margin, pipeline and other business drivers.
• Partner with product, sales, marketing and operations teams to understand performance, challenge assumptions and support financial targets.
• Identify, quantify and communicate risks and opportunities, recommending actions to improve outcomes.
• Support pricing, discounting and deal structure decisions to ensure financially sound commercial proposals.
• Develop business cases for investments, product development, go‑to‑market initiatives and other strategic opportunities, assessing financial returns and sensitivities.
• Maintain and improve financial processes, models, dashboards and reporting tools for timely, accurate decision‑making.
• Leverage generative AI, automation and analytical tools to streamline recurring finance processes and enhance analysis.
