About the role

The Commercial Electrical Construction Instructor will deliver classroom instruction and hands‑on training in commercial electrical construction topics at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. This full‑time position supports the college’s mission to provide high‑quality technical education to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess courses in commercial electrical construction following approved syllabi.
• Maintain accurate grade books, student records, and inventory of instructional equipment.
• Utilize appropriate teaching methods, testing procedures, and grading standards.
• Collaborate with campus staff to support underrepresented and disabled students.
• Participate in periodic travel between campuses and satellite sites as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of a diploma or higher in a relevant teaching discipline with verifiable academic credentials.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial electrical construction practices and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Required skills
