Commercial Construction Superintendent

About the role

The company is a respected commercial general contractor expanding across Southern California. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead ground‑up and renovation projects in the Inland Empire and North San Diego County.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day jobsite operations for commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, driving milestone completion.
• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and coordinate workflow among all trades.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform quality‑control inspections to ensure work meets specifications.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays.
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, architects, and owners.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience in at least one sector: education, retail, office, commercial renovations, or ground‑up construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building methods, scheduling, sequencing, and quality control.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Competitive salary $120,000–$130,000 per year
