Commercial Construction Estimator (Retail & Fast‑Food)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable bids for commercial construction projects across the restaurant, fast‑food, retail, and banking sectors. The role works closely with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to secure new business and support the company’s growth in the Greater Atlanta market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for fast‑food, restaurant, retail, and commercial construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop project budgets.
• Solicit, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting critical bid deadlines.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of construction estimating experience, preferably in restaurant, fast‑food, retail, or commercial projects.
• Experience estimating projects in the $3M–$6M range.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, materials, scopes of work, and subcontractor pricing.
• Stable career history with a demonstrated interest in long‑term professional growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred but not required.
• Based in or willing to work in Atlanta, GA.
