Color & Print Designer

About the role

Lola Blankets is looking for a creative Color & Print Designer to lead seasonal colour direction and print development across blankets, sleepwear and accessories. The role blends trend research, brand storytelling and production‑ready artwork to shape the visual identity of a fast‑growing DTC brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop seasonal colour palettes and print concepts aligned with brand strategy and assortment plans.
• Create digital mood boards, inspiration decks and trend presentations for concept reviews.
• Design original prints and patterns for mainline collections and collaborations, offering multiple colourway and scale options.
• Prepare production‑ready artwork files for vendor handoff, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Manage lab dip and print strike‑off processes, reviewing tone, saturation, scale and hand feel, and provide feedback to vendors.
• Maintain colour standards and oversee approvals through colour trial and pre‑production stages.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising and Product Development to align creative direction with commercial goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience at a fast‑growing DTC apparel or home brand, at Associate Designer or Designer level.
• Strong portfolio showcasing print development, colour storytelling and multi‑category execution.
• Deep understanding of textile printing techniques, lab dips and print strike‑offs from concept to production.
• Highly organized with strong project‑management skills and ability to manage multiple seasonal calendars.
