About the role

Leland is seeking an experienced College Admissions Coach to guide students through every stage of the college application journey. You will work remotely, setting your own schedule and rates, while collaborating with a fast‑growing, AI‑focused team dedicated to helping learners achieve ambitious educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist students in exploring schools and programs and developing a personalized application strategy.
• Provide comprehensive support for essays, secondary reviews, supplementary materials, and resume building.
• Offer editing, interview preparation, recommendation letter guidance, and financial aid & scholarship advice.
• Help students understand testing requirements, assessments, and devise waitlist strategies when needed.
• Conduct virtual coaching sessions, track progress, and ensure a high‑quality, supportive experience for each student.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the college admissions landscape, preferably as a former admissions officer, counselor, or industry professional.
• Proven track record of helping students submit competitive applications.
• Clear, structured approach to guiding students through a high‑stakes process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
