Coater Operator (Electrode Technician)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Coater Operator, also known as an Electrode Technician, to join our manufacturing team. In this role you will create, test, and maintain electrodes used in a variety of applications, ensuring high‑quality production in a controlled dry‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain roll‑to‑roll and web‑press equipment according to process documents.
• Test electrodes for quality, performance and durability.
• Calibrate and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Maintain inventory of electrode materials and supplies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work with engineers to improve designs and processes.
• Document results and follow safety protocols, including wearing a respirator.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; US citizenship or 10‑year green card holder.
• Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing experience operating machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for most of the shift.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
