About the role
The CMH Attending Physician provides comprehensive emergency and urgent‑care services across Albany Med Health System locations. This full‑time, day‑shift position focuses on rapid assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients presenting with acute medical conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting to any Albany Med Health System Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care location.
- Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care in fast‑paced emergency settings.
- Document clinical encounters in compliance with HIPAA and New York State privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
Required profile
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Medical license to practice in New York State.
- Commitment to patient‑centered, high‑quality care.
Required skills
- Clinical assessment and emergency treatment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards.
