Cloud Ops Engineer

About the role

Bloom Growth™ is looking for a Cloud Ops Engineer to join our fully remote team. You will work closely with Engineering and Product to build, automate, and optimise the cloud infrastructure that powers our growth platform, ensuring reliability and a great customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise AWS (and other cloud) infrastructure for reliability, scalability and performance.
• Automate deployments, infrastructure management and operational workflows using IaC tools.
• Monitor production environments, improve system performance, uptime and alerting.
• Apply cloud security best practices and maintain a compliant infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and resolve them within SLAs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to enhance cloud architecture and processes.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (preferred) and familiarity with Azure or GCP.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong background in cloud monitoring, alerting and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and scripting for automation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
