Cloud Infrastructure Systems Administrator (Linux Admin)

About the role

CACI is looking for an experienced Linux administrator to join its IT team in Sterling. The role covers workstation and server support, cloud infrastructure management and network troubleshooting, and requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. It is a regular, full-time position with up to 10% travel across the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Workstation and server support: local Linux desktop support and remote Linux server and cloud-based server support
• Support local and remote "Cloud-in-a-box" infrastructure (Nutanix)
• Manage and maintain cloud-based resources (AWS) and handle IPAM, Puppet and Ansible tasks
• Document work and support troubleshooting of the cloud base network infrastructure and local network issues
• Configure network switches and settings for deployed hardware

Required profile

• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP), or willingness to obtain it within 1-2 months of starting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 7 years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and a willingness to learn new technologies
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required to start
