Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Manager (New York)

About the role

The Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Manager will lead the design, implementation, and observability of our cloud platforms. You will oversee both cloud engineering and site reliability teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performing digital ordering services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a cloud platform that meets scalability, reliability, and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into robust cloud solutions.
• Plan capacity, allocate staffing, and mentor a high‑performing cloud engineering team.
• Define and track measurable KPIs for engineers, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage operational cloud costs, optimize spend, and ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations.
• Lead observability initiatives, including monitoring, incident response, and root‑cause analysis.
• Research emerging cloud services and guide vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a cloud engineering team.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on cloud engineering experience, including SRE practices.
• Proven ability to work with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑team collaboration and roadmap planning.

Required skills

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Real‑time monitoring platforms like Grafana or Datadog.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI or similar tools.
• Experience with container orchestration and cloud services.
