Clinician‑Educator in Genetics, Genomics & Metabolism

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Lurie Children’s Hospital seeks a full‑time Clinician‑Educator to join the Division of Genetics, Genomics, and Metabolism. The appointment is non‑tenure‑eligible at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor and involves both clinical care and academic teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical genetics services including dysmorphology, inborn errors of metabolism, neurofibromatosis, skeletal dysplasia, connective‑tissue disorders, and lysosomal storage disorders.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in genetics and genomics.
• Participate in clinical research trials and help develop new clinical and training programs.
• Deliver care at the main hospital and outreach sites as needed.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Clinical Genetics.
• Eligibility for Illinois medical licensure.
• Commitment to education, research, and high‑quality patient care.
