Clinical Trials Manager – Neurology/Memory Disorders

About the role

The Department of Neurology/Memory Disorders at Georgetown University seeks a Clinical Trials Manager to oversee complex clinical studies. The role involves setting up trials, managing data, coordinating recruitment, and ensuring compliance with all study procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, execute, and document clinical trials, including protocol review and case report form management.
• Monitor participant recruitment, retention, and adherence to visit schedules.
• Develop and implement data management plans, ensuring timely data entry and organization.
• Prepare for and facilitate monitoring visits, regulatory submissions, and IRB applications.
• Conduct cognitive testing, interview caregivers, and perform chart reviews.
• Serve as liaison with clinicians, pharmaceutical sponsors, and the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Institute.
• Train staff on protocol measures and Georgetown clinical research policies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience conducting cognitive testing.
• Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of clinical regulatory compliance and experience handling multi‑center trials.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
