Clinical Support Staff (RN, LPN, CMA)

About the role

Coos County Family Health Services is seeking compassionate Clinical Support Staff (Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN) to deliver high‑quality, culturally sensitive care in a community health setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Administer immunizations and medications, collect lab specimens, perform point‑of‑care testing, and maintain clean exam rooms and equipment.
• Enter patient data, visit notes, and orders in the EHR, assist with care coordination, patient follow‑up, and outreach for preventive and chronic care.
• Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and dental teams, participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Required profile

• Current NH certification/licensure: Medical Assistant (or equivalent experience), active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations in a community health setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AthenaOne EHR (preferred).
