Clinical Specialty Pharmacist – IV Solutions & Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Specialty Pharmacist to join the St. Mary Infusion Center in Chicago. The pharmacist will focus on oncology and IV solution services, ensuring safe sterile compounding and high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense sterile compounded oncology and IV medications in compliance with USP <967> standards.
• Collaborate directly with physicians, nurses, and other providers while maintaining clinical independence.
• Make day‑to‑day clinical decisions that improve patient outcomes, including therapy adjustments and monitoring.
• Provide education and counseling to patients receiving infusion therapies.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Current state‑specific Registered Pharmacist license.
• B.S. in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
• PGY‑1 residency completed or ≥3 years of oncology/IV pharmacy experience.
• PGY‑2 residency or Board Certification (BPS specialty) preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
