Clinical Research Associate – Neurology Trials

About the role

The Clinical Research Associate (CRC I) will manage and coordinate seven ongoing Phase I‑IV clinical trials in the Department of Neurology, focusing on neuroimmunology and neuromuscular conditions. Working on‑site at the Georgetown University Hospital, the associate ensures each patient visit follows protocol and supports the university’s mission of personalized, comprehensive care.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of seven active clinical trials, including scheduling, pre‑visit planning, and on‑site execution.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and ensure compliance with university and sponsor requirements.
• Enter and verify trial data accurately in the OnCore/CTMS system.
• Report adverse events promptly and communicate findings with the study team and sponsors.
• Collaborate with ancillary departments such as Radiology, Cardiology, and the Clinical Research Unit to facilitate patient visits.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical research standards.
• Ability to work five days per week on‑site and meet project deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the OnCore clinical trial management system.
• Experience using CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System) platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory maintenance and reporting procedures.
