Clinical Quality Lead

About the role

Float Health is looking for a Clinical Quality Lead to own the nursing judgment at the core of its quality program. In this role you will shape how safe, high‑quality nursing care is defined, measured and continuously improved across a national marketplace of independent clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Define high‑quality clinical care standards for Float visits, covering provider orders, medication administration, infusion practice, assessment, monitoring, escalation and documentation.
• Develop and maintain clinical review criteria, decision frameworks and escalation pathways that fit the 1099 independent contractor model.
• Build a scalable clinical quality system that makes safe nursing care visible, measurable and improvable across all markets, pharmacy partnerships and patient visits.
• Investigate incidents and deviations from care plans, determine root causes and decide appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager and the Clinical Resource Team to ensure alignment of quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager and working within the Clinical Resource Team.
