Clinical Pharmacist I – Evening Shift

About the role

Join UT Health Tyler as an evening‑shift, full‑time Clinical Pharmacist in Tyler, TX. You will provide safe, cost‑effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, IV admixture, and drug information support to patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize patient care by delivering appropriate and safe medication therapy.
• Perform drug dispensing and manage the IV admixture program.
• Provide drug information and answer medication‑related queries.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations Manager.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Required profile

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required for Code Blue response.
• Completion of TSBP sterile compounding education or ability to complete within 90 days.
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
